Ways to use oils you'll love

Easy Dryer balls

Start with three tennis ball, pick out your essential oil. Drop about five drops on one of the balls. Place all three balls into your dryer. Your clothes will come out smelling great and static free!!

Flyspray

When you live on a farm you always have fly's somewhere. I mixed up a batch of essential oil flies spray. We spray it twice a day around the doors, on our cows backs, and any other places that the flies are driving us crazy.

Place all ingredients into a spray bottle.

Five drops of each of the following oils: atlas cedar, lemongrass, tea tree, citronella. 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar, 1/2 cup olive oil, fill rest of bottle with water. Shake well. 

Chemical-Free Liquid Laundry Detergent

Makes 2 gallons

  • 2 gallons water

  • 1/2c super washing soap

  • 1/2c baking soda

  • 3/4c Castile soap (find on Amazon)

  • 30 drops of your favorite essential oils

  • Large spoon

Mix in hot water. Use 1/3c of detergent in each load.

DYI Swiffer WetJet Re-Fill Floor Cleaner

First, Those tricky lids are so hard to get off. Here is a hint - Boil water, dip and soak lid in the boiling water for about 30 seconds. This should soften the plastic cap enough to be loosen it, give the cap a good twist.

 It really works! 

  • Add equal parts of the following to your bottle:

  • hot water

  • white vinegar​

Add 4 to 5 drops of your favorite essential oil . A citrus scent is a favorite of mine, but be adventurous try a new one each time!!
